Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered from the Sunday Brunch menu and started with the delicious beet salad and lettuce gem salad, both of which were delightful. We also indulged in the Harissa and basil baby clams, as well as the breakfast croissant. While the crispy potatoes weren't quite as crispy as we expected, they were still very tasty. The brioche bread was wonderful, the croissant was perfect, and the bacon was cooked to perfection. We paired our meal with a lovely sauvignon blanc. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our experience. The ambiance was fun, combining a French vibe with a 60s mod aesthetic. Why did we wait so long to come here?
The service was attentive, and I had a chance to relax for a bit after ordering my drink before placing my entree. I opted for the turkey BLT, which came with a side salad. The sandwich was delicious, filled with plenty of thinly sliced turkey. The salad was fresh, featuring crisp greens and a light dressing. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch and the ambiance of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend Kendall's for a lunch stop before attending an event at the Music Center.
We've been enjoying brunch at Kendall's for many years. With season tickets for the Ahmanson/Taper, we frequently visit for dance performances. The service has consistently been excellent, and the location is very convenient. However, the food options leave much to be desired and tend to be overpriced. We're on the lookout for a brunch spot that offers a more satisfying experience.
The happy hour/wine tasting was early enough that the restaurant was calm and the help was wonderful. We took the train so it was very convenient. We look forward to more wine tasting events.
Though the food is good, the options continue to be limited and a bit over price. They are down to one soup, onion. Bread- 4 rolls for $10. No complementary French bread from many years ago. Though I like their tuna tartare and it is large for a starter, as an app, it is pricey. The chicken parm needed extra sauce. This is one spot we frequent as we have season tickets with Center Theatre Group. We brought our own wine-$40 corkage fee is a bit steep. For three people with tip almost $100 each. Biggest concern on a Friday night, not even half full. If they do not improve their dining options they will be gone before we know it.
