Italian Express Pizza - Los Angeles

One of my favorite places to eat at. Westwood gem. Working nearby, I would order from this place once a week and once even did a 5 day bender. The value you get is unbeatable. The staff are great once you get to know them. The chef, Rene is one of the best people I have met at a restaurant, nicest person and always has my order memorized when I call. Recommend the meat eater pizza, the calzone with sauce inside with meatballs, garlic and jalapenos, the garlic cheesy bread and any of their pastas. The lunch specials are worth it. Highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Italian.

Finally a pizza worthy of the name, made and served by someone who lived in Italy (Naples) and learned cooking there. It changes everything!! The boss is adorable.

I’ve been coming here for over five years. I love how the owner is caring and involved as well as his son. This is a very nice family owned and operated restaurant.

Came for the pizza, was good, although the thin crust gets soggy in the center of the pie. we came during the afternoon and inside was dark, like no lights were on at all, just the tv, so we sat out in the courtyard, which was nice. we tentatively recommend

We ordered from UberEats, and it came well packaged and still fresh. The meatballs and lasagna were both absolutely delicious. But the Mozzarella Sticks? Show stopper. These babies were fresh, gave the most beautiful cheese pull, and the breading was so yummy. We will definitely be returning.
