Bidrage med feedbackThis unassuming restaurant in a mall offers absolutely delicious food and cocktails. Sitting at the bar allowed us to watch the food being prepared, which only made us hungrier. The black karaage was perfectly crispy and juicy, while the mushroom yakitori was one of our favorites, even though we're big meat lovers!
We discovered this restaurant while working on a puzzle at The Last Bookstore in Downtown LA. We opted for the $35 special lunch combo offered during restaurant week, which featured their classic skewers, and we paired it with some sake. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the chicken skewers were among the most tender I've ever tasted, regardless of cuisine! I highly recommend it!
This modern Yakitori (Japanese grilled skewer) place is just below Sheraton Grand LA in the open air mall, the BLOC. Don?t expect it to be like the Yakitori restaurants in Japan. The food is more modern but just as delicious. Their selectionsincluding squid ink are probably the better items on the somewhat limited menu. Service was a little below average, slow, andquality/quantity was a little shorter than what i expected.
We arrived at 5 PM just in time for happy hour! We had a wonderful time enjoying some tasty small bites and a couple of drinks before heading to see Easter Sunday at Alamo. A big thanks to Ray, Miguel, and the rest of the staff for making our evening special!
Just happened to find Hatch (yakitori bar) and super glad I did. I ended up getting the mushroom party and pee wee potato yakitori and the corn fritters. Glad they had veggie options. The flavors were spot on hitting that umami spot. The servingswere just right, the service friendly and the food came out quickly. Overall worth a visit
