Ebisu Japanese Izakaya - Los Angeles

The food was fantastic! It was my first experience trying Japanese cuisine, and I loved it. Our appetizers were absolutely delicious, and the plates were spotless, which I appreciated. The woman who took our order was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was wonderful; it felt authentically traditional, which made it even more enjoyable for someone new to this dining experience.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent. I ordered a midday combination that included sushi and pork. The sushi was of decent quality, and the fish was generously sized for the price. The pork cutlet was perfectly cooked and fried, and it was unusually high in quality and flavor—definitely one of the best I've ever had. The decor, featuring a Japanese fishing boat theme, was also very unique and added to the overall experience.

I always return to this spot when I'm craving sushi in Little Tokyo. The prices are very affordable; I typically spend around $30 and leave feeling satisfied, drinks included. The walls are adorned with mementos from other restaurants that have ceased operations. The interior has a charming wooden ship vibe, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They serve steamed peanuts at the tables, which is a nice touch. While their ramen isn't their strongest suit, everything else on the menu is fantastic. They also offer a wide selection of unique Japanese alcoholic beverages that you won't find elsewhere. I always leave this place feeling happy. Plus, there's convenient parking just a short walk away.

Perfect place for more hidden traditional Japanese dishes. not the best sushi/fish around little tokyo, but everything is solid and tasty. chicken nanban is on the point

Really good sushi place. Authentic decoration, delicious food and friendly staff. And great value as well! Definitely will go back again!
