Bidrage med feedbackA poor man who acts as a host, bartender, server and busboy. the food was cold and it took two hours to lunch. they shouldn't open up for lunch. very disappointing.
I was here for a business dinner and the ambiente and the service was incredible! Even to meet the director of the operations (gary g., who took it on to come say hi and welcome a veteran . our server eric and co-server tyler roch amazing and had great vibes and real service! go back! wait, the barkeeper made this dope mezcal drink and it was a mart!
You go to Downtown LA and assume the price for food and service is going to be steep, but expect great service. Then you log into OpenTable and find a place with great reviews and go there and the entire experience is terrible. $40 steak you order and the waitress tells you no potatoes... Wow, how does a 4 to 5 star restaurant not have potatoes as the item listed to go with the steak is nuts. Then $24 a piece for gourmet pizzas is a joke. The prosciutto pizza, no joke came with 4 small tiny little pieces of ham. And the Chicken pesto pizza had more cheese than chicken and pesto. The the wine, lol. They had Lyric Pinot Noir on their menu, I order Lyric and the waiters says its out for weeks. Is this restaurant that cheap to make a new paper menu? Then she says we have this Pinot, a flipping Kendall Jackson as the alternative. She says its far superior lol. So I was stuck with that. Then the bill comes and the KJ is priced $16 higher, I lost my patience. And our waitress was running the bar, taking orders from every other table, and numerous time, I asked, when can expect our food, SHE HAD NO IDEA. This place was a joke and my bill was $178 for 2 terrible pizzas, a steak with no potatoes, and 3 glasses of Coastal Kendall Jackson Pinot.
As a former Chicago restauranteur, from the Host/Server, Madison to the GM/Owner Gary to Chef, Evan — the staff on Sunday evening were most attentive, accommodating, friendly and gave me excellent service! My appetizer meatball to the chicken pesto pizza was made with LOVE! Ingredients were used of the highest quality and carefully prepared that brought out the natural well-balanced, flavors of each dish. Thank you for making my evening memorable in a beautifully designed, modern ambience. I will be back.
The pizza was a bit overdone, but the shrimp scallop Tagliatelle was sooo good, but the service killed it as the waiter was inexperienced and the food took over 20 minutes to come out in a restaurant that had only 5 people in it. The other couple just left in disgust.
