Brand new waitress and so pleasant and attentive. came because of the open table and near the stoved theater in westwood. very pleasant meal.

The food was tasteful, but the service was appalling. I invited a friend to see a game in the oven and the restaurant is close. all the time the waitress came to our table, she spoke to my friend and totally ignored. that was the threat that broke the back of this camel when she asked my friend if she could remove my brotteller who was on my side of the table, right next to my right wing. my friend and I are not of the same breed, but I guess she didn't know I paid the bill. my friend has apologised several times and I could only say that unfortunately it was a very common experience.

Better than other reviews showed. Food was not the best Indian I've ever had, but certainly not the worst. about mid level. Contrary to other reviews, I thought the food had enough spicy kick to it to be good. Lentil soup was actually too spicy for my wife (who doesn't like spicy). Portions a little small for the price, but still quite reasonable value. Service was good, first items a little slow to come out, but once they started bringing food, it was promptly served. We had told them we were in a rush since we had to get to the theater after dinner, and they certainly accommodated that, we were out of there in plenty of time. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but would certainly eat there again if I were in Westwood and needed a place to eat.

We went for a belated birthday for a friend. We bought a groupon which is a good way to try a place for the first time. The area is nice. The food was good. My wife is from India so her palette is a little more definitive than mine. We had a variety of dishes. There was not much difference between the butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala. Both had a distinct butter flavor. I would try again as I don't like to define a place on the first visit.

This restaurant has an AMAZING chef, the food is right on! BUT, the service is terrible. They need alot of help. MS
