Basbussa - Los Angeles

First time in this unique kosher restaurant in Los Angeles. Found the food excellent and the ambience really interesting. The menu gives really the highlights of Israeli cuisine. Really enough to accommodate even non-meat eaters. Just note that after around 9 PM it becomes a club with a DJ, so if that is not your vibe, come earlier.

Why would you charge $450 for a $50 tequila. That’s a rip off

Staff were very friendly, service and ambiance were great but the food was low quality.

Three siblings interested in Mediterranean cuisine. Didn’t realize this was a more geared to music and parties. The front desk was very prompt and friendly in seating us. Service was prompt and attentive. All the food we ordered was outstanding: Baba Ganoush, cauliflower appetizer, flatbreads and challah bread. Tacos were ok but more my problem. They had an Israeli Cabernet I hadn’t tried before. Only regret was too loud and for some reason we were by ourselves in the group/party section. Would have loved to be here in a group
