The Potholder Cafe Los Alamitos

I expect more for a $50.00+ Breakfast with potatoes and eggs. My husband order chorizo scrambled. The potatoes were burn and the eggs with chorizo looked a bit wet. I order the Mundo or mando burrito sauce that cover the burrito seem/tasted like it came from a bottle. The stuff inside was not seasoned well, potatoes again burned, and just a mess. Even the bacon was not good. The pancakes were difficult to cut and not fluffy. The lady was nice but EVERYTHING ELSE JUST BAD. I expect more for a $50+ breakfast.Parking: Plenty of parking, just be careful because their is a gap down after the small wall

We dropped in unexpectedly on this fine establishment on a very early Wednesday morning after my aunt's funeral. We had about 20 to 25 people with us and it is a very tiny spot but the people who are working did an amazing job to get us all of our food timely and gave us great service and great tasting food. Thank you very much for your kindness and care during what was a very difficult day for all of our family.Dietary restrictions: We decided to go to this place because my wife and my daughter have celiac disease and when we called they said that they had a dedicated grill for their gluten-free pancakes and waffles.

Small place. Great gluten free skillet potatoes. The family party we had was about 25deep and the helped us with tables on the patio and everything. Good was great. Everyone loved it.Food: 5/5

Spoke with them about their gluten free options as I have celiac and they said they clean the surfaces. Not sure if I'm going to get sick or not yet but the gluten free pancakes were very good and they seemed to take great care.Dietary restrictions: A few gluten free and vegetarian and vegan options.

This place has a huge fly problem indoors and outdoors. The food was delicious and service was great but I'd like to enjoy my food without me having to swat my arms around for the flies not to land on my food.
