Harold's Chicken Bar - Los Alamitos

I absolutely loved the seasoning at this restaurant, it was perfect!

I believe the restaurant was short-staffed. The waitress was lovely and tried her best to correct any mistakes, which we appreciated. The food was excellent and the cocktails were delicious. However, the service could be improved, and the women's restroom was very dirty. I would recommend HC&B to a friend, but would make sure to mention the issues I noticed first.

My husband and I arrived at the restaurant at 2:15 on a Saturday afternoon. The place was busy and we had a reservation, but we still had to choose our table. The only available option was a small table where we had to sit sideways due to lack of space. We decided to wait for a better table to become available. After a short wait, we were seated at a more comfortable spot. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, just like we remembered from our time in Chicago. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made our experience even better. The 18% gratuity didn't bother us considering the quality of service we received. The prices were reasonable and they had daily specials. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended the restaurant to others.

First, the only available space was a small table that would normally have been fine. However, all the other tables were full and we had to press our chair so close to the table that we had to sit sideways. We decided to wait until somewhere else to sit so we could enjoy our meal. We just waited about 5 minutes before something was opened and we waited for our order, so it wasn't a problem. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes and it was hot. The chicken and the catfish were just as we remembered our Chicago days, delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. This can be a decisive factor when you find where to spend our food. As with the 18% package, in my opinion, it is not so bad. They seem to have the peculiarities of the day, so the prices are reasonable, and the staff works hard. We will definitely be back soon and have already told other Chicagoers about it.

I think they were understated. the beautiful waitress has tried to correct the wrongs we have estimated. the food was very good. the cocktails were delicious. the service can be better... the ladies' room was very DIRTY. I would recommend HC
