Great Ocean Road Bakehouse Lorne

This was the first bakery we came across when we entered the town, we ordered a chocolate croissant and a chocolate muffin and were very pleased with our product. The croissant was flakey with good chocolate inside. The chocolate muffin was extremely moist - we really enjoyed it!

Visited the Bakehouse for a quick pre-beach lunch. The pies (rosemary and lamb and chunky beef and onion pie) and sausage rolls are delicious and tasty. Highly recommended for quick and yummy lunch. Coffee not bad either.

Have called in on several occasions and never been disappointed,fresh breads,rolls.but it's the pies that get me every time,recommend the steak and black pepper and the sausage rolls are good as well

Had morning tea at the great ocean road bakehouse. the staff was very friendly and patient as we tried to decide what type of drinks and goodies we should have (they have a large selection). the lemon pie was large and quite tart in taste. The kid had a chocolate filled horn which she ate quickly so that she did'tn need to share with anyone looking for a bite. there are several tables to enjoy the sun or shade.

Stopped off here, falling away with hunger and looking for a decent feed.I don't know how this place achieved awards; there were flies on the food for a start.Custard tart tasted like cardboard, the sausage roll was barely warm, the coffee tasted like 7/11 coffee.It was fairly cheap, which was a plus. Otherwise, this was a really poor effort.
