Mediterraneo - Loreto

We tried to have dinner here before but it was completely booked. This was 6 years ago. After a few days of diving, we wanted dinner and a drink. I ordered a plate but Luis our server made a recommendation that turned out to be phenomenal. The food was delish, Luis and Juan Carlos did must have watched us from the window because they were there when we wanted them. We can’t say enough good things about Mediterráneo. Oh, and don’t skip dessert! So good!.

Had a fantastic Tapas dinner with Luis as our server he was super friendly and he made my afternoon birthday great. Highly recommended!

Last Sunday we checked in at the Loreto Bay Golf Resort Spa after a long drive down from Bahia Do Los Angeles. We wanted something a little more intimate than the resort restaurants for dinner. We checked online and saw the great reviews and decided this was the spot we were looking for. It has a great location and ambience. The waiters Juan Carlos and Luis were very attentive and had some great recommendations that we took them up on. Our appy, tempura fried clams, calamari and onion rings were fantastic. I have been on this planet 60 years and travel extensively and those were the best damn onion rings I have ever had, unusual for a combo but incredible. Both our mains did not disappoint and were as good as the starter. They also brought out bruschetta complimentary before our meal. We also had a pleasant converstion with the owner who was seated behind us taking the night off and enjoying a glass of Rose. The only downside to the evening was when we realized they are a little too far to drive from our home in Cabo just for dinner, but we will stop there every time through town. I can not believe this restaurant is not number 1 on Tripadviser. Thanks again to the staff for a perfect evening

Great restaurant by the water. The food was good and service was great. We had a large group and they handled it well. I had the bbq ribs and they were well seasoned but slightly dry. Prices are on the high end, but the food is good.

Great food. Nice ambiance. I was interested in Guadalupe Valley wine. Good Mexican wine list with excellent wines. Hidden gem! Where the long time expat locals eat!
