Scotyz Bar & Grill - Longueuil

I returned to Scotyz's after not being there for a year. Staff was the same - friendly and efficient. Food specials and menu had not changed. But best of all the quality of the food had not changed. Tasty bar food. Home comfort. Glad I went back and would encourage others to drop by.

A friend of mine own this great place. Great food great people great neighbourhood. Everyone knows your name bar and it doesn't get any better than that.

This is your typical bar with food for dinner. We went there on a Saturday evening and this was my first time at this bar.The good: Food was good. Got the "limited quantity" spaghetti (that is what it said in the menu, I didn't get it). Drinks were nice and cheap in cost. Ambiance was nice. Not too loud of a place. Service was good and friendly. The bad: Bathrooms are small and narrow, and toilet rooms' wall kind of low. Outside entrance is also "the smoker's lounge", so you choke on smoke when you get in or out of the place.This place is certainly one that I would return to.

Unpretentious, actually a little grubby in appearance, but excellent food, generous portions, friendly staff, convenient location, remarkably low prices.

Restaurant was busy, packed really. They have some sort of golf special, so lots of old people. Food was mediocre, not great fries. What really brought it down in my esteem is the waitress. While nice, she made a bad choice at the end of our meal. We asked her for the bill, which she eventually gave us; we were ready to pay but she hadn't brought the machine. She went back to grab the machine, grabbed a bunch if bills for another table, and started having them pay (there was 10 of them) compared to our one couple. Then, being a nice lady, she chatted with them after they were done paying, making us wait an extra 15mins. This, IMO, is unacceptable. Interior is dated be adequate, music is loud, too loud for supper, more of a bar than a grill, serve mostly bar greasy type food, not really grill food. Honestly, even if they served girl type food, I wouldn't trust them to make a good filet mignon, something that's not that hard to cook.Hard to find parking.
