Bidrage med feedbackThis was our first time visiting St-Hubert's since it left Ontario many years ago and we were looking forward to it. However, our experience was not great. The host seemed overwhelmed, running around trying to bus tables, clean chairs, and seat patrons, which was stressful to watch. Despite this, we appreciated that they provided English menus and everyone spoke English. Unfortunately, several items on the menu were sold out or unavailable, including chicken legs, chicken pot pie, traditional cole slaw, and a dessert. The food we did end up ordering was tasty and the portions were decent. However, the cheese curds on the poutine were cold, making the fries and gravy also cold, which was disappointing given the $3 upcharge. The sweet potato fries were a highlight though. Compared to Swiss Chalet, St-Hubert's fell short in both taste and price. We are uncertain if we would return in the future.
This location is busy but worth the short wait to be seated. The decor is nice modern. The service was prompt at the table to order. Our food was delicious—the piri piri is not too spicy—just right! We enjoyed our meal. We hadn’t heard of this chain as we are from BC, but will make it a must-stop when we’re out again. The staff were nice the meal enjoyable.
I am a big fan of St hubert but my experience at this one wasn't good. We went for lunch on a Sunday at 11:15am so it was not busy. Our waitress was nice but not very efficient. She did not remove our empty appetizer dishes when our main dishes arrived (we had to move them and they stayed on our table). Our fries and poutine were room temperature/cold. We had to tell another waiter because ours never came back to our table. We were never offered refills and had to ask the hostess for more water/coffee who was happy to do so. Portion size (chicken) has been shrinking of time. Pudding chomeur was not good pasty tasting and not made with maple syrup. free parking and free wifi. This experience will not stop me from going but its still disappointing.
Good quality with a variaty of salad’s and chicken complete meal’s a high end fast food chicken, recentely change hand but the menu and the quality did not change
St-Hubert has been around, for longer than I have, but, although this was always one of our top three restaurants, for some reason, the more they expand, renovate, innovate, etc...the food just isn't the same anymore. I usually order the chicken skewer, and I love the skewer of pineapple and vegetables that comes with it. The chicken is good, but, I do not eat much, so it's fine for me, but, the people I go with, don't want to pay this much for such a small portion of food. The rice is hardly cooked at all. It's still crunchy, which is not what most people I know look for in rice. The vegetables are RAW, not UNDERCOOKED, RAW. The coleslaw is very good, but, for this price, we would rather go somewhere else.
