Blue Dolphin Cafe - Longboat Key

The food was delicious, but I was disappointed by the lack of friendliness from the wait staff. None of them smiled during the entire meal.

The service at this restaurant was excellent. It has a charming atmosphere. The everything bagel was absolutely delicious!

I chose Blue Dolphin for a delightful breakfast with my family and it was a great decision. When I requested mushrooms, onions, and jalapeños on my omelette, I didn't expect them to add so many jalapeños - about 6 peppers' worth, to be exact! After removing the excess peppers, the food was delicious. They were also very attentive to our baby girl, who loved her fruit and French toast.

My husband and I went on a weekday with our 3 year old for a quick casual bite only to be extremely impressed. Everything we ordered was delicious. He has not ordered Eggs Benedict in months because not a single restaurant would get it right, but they hit it right on the money. Blue Dolphin, your Thursday morning chef is talented! We also tried their homemade corn beef hash amazing. Bonus: We found a new local hot sauce as well! We have not been to the St.Armands location, only Longboat.

If you are from New Jersey and love diners, this is the place for you. The food is cheap and delicious. Keep up the great work.
