Custard's Last Stand - Long Lake

I stopped by this place during a road trip, and I have to say, the coffee toffee ice cream was incredible! The maple ice cream was also fantastic. I highly recommend this spot!

I had an excellent experience at this ice cream shop. The service was outstanding, and they took the time to carefully create the sundae I ordered, customizing it just the way I wanted. The ice cream was rich and full of flavor.

The best soft serve in the Adirondacks comes with a charming historic retro vibe. The unique shape of the building is delightful. Noel and his family are always incredibly friendly!

Iconic ice cream since 1957. Noel, the owner was gracious, informative and makes fantastic ice cream! Custard’s was a stop on our NY ice cream challenge tour, from Coney Island to the Canadian border. Well worth it!! I had a wafer cone with a scoop of vanilla under a scoop of strawberry. Soooooo good! The atmosphere here is iconic and epic Adirondacks. Long Lake, summer, the mountains and ice cream. On our ice cream journey we rate this number two in New York State, behind our tie for number one. Homemade ice cream, family traditions, roadside ice cream excitement! Custard’s Last Stand is a stop you can’t miss when enjoying an Adirondack summer day.
