Slice Lic Pizzeria - Long Island City

The pizza slices were quite tasty and the service was quick. There are also a few seating areas available indoors.

The staff is extremely polite. The pizza is classic New York style. I have been a regular customer for years. They are consistently good and never fail to impress.

The pizza at this restaurant is good when available. I visited at 7 PM hoping to get a couple of slices, but was told they were out of cheese slices. Despite having other varieties available, they did not make more pizzas. I found this odd as they are open until midnight. I left and went to another pizzeria nearby. Additionally, it is suggested to avoid talking on the phone as there are other tasks to be done, such as cleaning tables, restroom maintenance, and taking orders. Lastly, when ordering a slice, it is assumed to be a cheese slice unless specified otherwise. This is how things work at pizzerias in this area.

This busy pizza shop has it's hits (vodka pie, tri-colore, chicken wraps), but overall it's not the best NY style pizza. They get the job done, but this is NYC... pizza standards are high.

Great pizza spot in lic! Great late night option with not many other options. Their green sauce is really good but all of their slices are great.
