Stirling House Diner

The food is always good at this diner but sadly the service is not. It use to be ?our waitress brought us our dinks and water but repeatedly passed us by and ignored us when it came to our order. If she were busy and running around I would understand but she wasn’t. To top it off the cashier was not understanding. She was just plain nasty. They have lost a long time customer.

Service and food were both terrible. What has happened to this place?!?

The absolute worst diner that I’ve visited in a long time. The diner has 4.2 stars and 900+ reviews so I wanted to check it out. I ordered the Tex-Mex Benedict and Mexican wrap. I specifically requested for fresh jalapeños because I’m allergic to vinegar in the pickled jalapeños and my waitress confirmed multiple times. I also requested to substitute the meat in the dishes for black beans (as I’m a vegetarian) and it was an up charge of $5, which is absurd. When my dishes arrived, I noticed pickled jalapeños and the waiter said sorry we actually don’t have fresh jalapeños. Such a disappointment. Do not go to this diner. Lastly, my waitress confirmed that substituting home fries for french fries will not be charge. However I was charged. Service is the worst. I wish I can give negative stars.

I love breakfast at this diner large sausages, great home fries; friendly fast service.

We have been consistent customers at Stirling House, food is always good! Unfortunately the service has been progressively getting worse and today was the last time. We waited over 15 minutes to get 1 soda and lemon and still no order taken. Sorry to see that this diner has changed.
