Playa Bowls - Long Branch

I am so tired of ordering my bowl through door dash and not getting what I paid for!! I always get extra Nutella in my bowl and they never put extra or the banana that is suppose to come with it. I actually use to work for playabowls before so I know how it is suppose to be portion. This is the 3rd time now. Stop being lazy!

Rode on a motorcycle from Rahway only come to this place. I look forward to my favorite Tropical Acai bowl and they have no pineapples anymore. How's a place that only serves fruit? Didn't order anything and went to Asbury Park. And the tables outside were just horrible and disgusting. I'm glad I didn't get anything.

I wish I could leave zero starts, but that?s not possible. The employees at Playa bowls Pier Village in Long Branch are extremely rude, immature and have zero customer service skills. I have been a Playa bowl customer for years, and never had a problem, until I went to this store in Long Branch NJ. The first visit had a long wait time, so the next time I went there, I decided to order through the app. I get to the store 5 minutes after my pick up time, and my food only started being prepared after I asked for it mind you the pick up time through the app was 30min, but it actually took at least 45 minutes total). The second episode was yesterday, when we arrived at the store about 15min before closing even though I never arrive at a store that late, because of how rude the associates usually act, but it was 4th of July weekend, so I decided to stop by and get a bowl). My partner waited and was ignored on the register for 5 min, until I lost my mind and had to go inside of the store I was on the outside seats) and asked why nobody was taking our order, or why nobody couldn?t even acknowledge us, when they have 3 people working behind that counter, and one the associate in a rude manner, told me she was finishing up something before she could take care of me fine, but tell me what is going on, don?t pretend I don?t exist, then tell me you did not see me before), the second employee instead of helping me, started mocking me, and laughing on my face, because I asked for service. There was only person who was helpful in that store, and it was this young, and nice lady who was trying to take our orders, which after thinking about everything the employees could do to our food, we decided to not order anything and leave the store. Good job, Play bowls, I hope I?ll never have to go to that store again. One less customer, way to go!

The main issue is with the smoothies; they often aren’t blended properly, leaving chunks of fruit stuck at the bottom of the cup, which can clog the straw and make for an unpleasant experience. Additionally, there have been times when they’ve forgotten to add the peanut butter drizzle I requested. I've also encountered problems with my oatmeal orders. When I request an oat bowl with half acai and half oat flakes, I expect it to be evenly divided between hot oats and acai. Unfortunately, it often ends up being mostly acai, which makes the bowl overflow and leaves hardly any room for oatmeal. Plus, the acai and oatmeal tend to get mixed together, and it doesn't taste great. I don't want to write off this place completely because there are times when the food is excellent. However, the inconsistency can be quite frustrating as a regular customer.

The place was very clean and fun. We loved the acai bowls they were very refreshing after the beach. The most important Fruits were fresh and good portioned. Good price for the quality of the food and service. Great location by the beach. Smoothies were tasty too. Highly recommend this place ? ? ? ? ?
