Valentino's Pizza - Long Beach

Delivery pizza here is better than all the recognized pizza chains out there. The subs are good, and the green salad is full of freshed cut veggies .We love the Canadian bacon with Pineapple and Jalapeños pizza. The prizes are fair and in my opinion low compared to Pizza hut and Shakeys or round table.Food: 5/5

Strange taste from the sausage on my pizza. Husband had the same experience with his Canadian bacon pizza. Like the meat was old.The lasagna was mostly sauce. Will not be back.Food: 3/5

One drawback of the Slice app is that it doesn't allow for ordering a cheese pizza as part of any combos. So, I usually order a pepperoni pizza and request that they leave off the pepperoni to make it a cheese pizza instead, and they gladly accommodate that request. Many other places fail to read special instructions, which makes this a big plus for me. However, there are a few issues worth mentioning. They tend to skimp on toppings, especially the pastrami. When you’re paying $23 for a pizza that features only pastrami and pickles, you can't afford to hold back on the pastrami. I often hesitate to order it because it can be disappointing, but I like to have options for everyone since I usually order for groups. Another issue arises with the Antipasto salad. The menu states it comes with mozzarella cheese, but it actually has a generous amount of parmesan instead— and I mean a lot! It completely covers the salad, making it impossible to remove all of it and ultimately ruining the dish. The first time we ordered it, we thought it was a mistake. By the second time, we realized it’s just a menu error. A friend who lives nearby has also ordered it and experienced the same thing. Two years later, and the menu still hasn't been updated; it continues to come with parmesan. We’ve started requesting no cheese, and they prepare it correctly, but it’s disappointing that there’s no mozzarella as advertised. As for the breadsticks, they're decent, but the price of $5 for six is a bit high—almost $1 per breadstick seems excessive. Most places offer 8 to 12 breadsticks for a similar price. Overall, it's solid pizza—nothing extraordinary, but they prepare your orders accurately. It’s a good choice for birthday parties or large groups.

Came here last minute but Ramona was so nice and her fellow co workers... Hooked it up and THE PIZZA WAS SUPER BOMB!!!!!!! Definitely coming back thank you everyone there!!!

I typically just order pizza because it's so delicious, but today I decided to try a Pastrami sandwich as well. When I opened it up, I was really disappointed—it looked so sparse, with barely any pastrami and way too many pickles and bread. I called the restaurant to see if I could get a refund or possibly a replacement sandwich, but I was told there was nothing they could do. If I had known this would be the case, I wouldn’t have ordered the sandwich at all. From now on, I’m sticking to pizza only!
