The Goban - Long Beach

Placed order at 8:09pm. Got order confirmation text and then waited for 45 mins for text to confirm locker number only to find out they were closed. Even though on Yelp it says they close at 9pm. Extremely disappointed as our other food came out and got cold.

In fairness to this bento box, it is so good! One of our favorites to order from DoorDash these days. And with a reasonable price. The only problem we had was we cannot really differentiate the pork katsu from chicken katsu but not a big deal.

I'm a fan of korean food and bento box!! this really a must tryyy!! their food is serve hot, and really good. I love their kimchi too. Will definitely order again!

Goblin on that Goban. Drop everything you're doing and order from this local restaurant now. You'll thank me as soon as you take your first bite! I will never forget my first meal at The Goban.. or my second and third. I ordered the Honey Fried Chicken bowl for delivery, and I'm still drooling over this entree. The chicken was crispy, like a perfectly breaded katsu. The meat was also tender and melts in your mouth. I opted in for a half rice/half salad bowl, topped with pickled radish, cabbage, and freshly steamed broccoli. Everything about this meal was tasty, light, and fresh. Leaving me energized yet full. My only complaint is that both the sauces and salad substitute were an up-charge. I'm a firm believer that if you're paying $10+ at least one sauce should be complimentary. I take my sauces very seriously.

I ordered the pork katsu with cheese, and they forgot the cheese.
