Days later, I unexpectedly expelled a worm. This was 17 days after my initial symptoms began. When I returned to the first doctor, I was informed that I had been misdiagnosed and started on a course of ivermectin. Although I felt better for a while, my symptoms have now returned. I do not have insurance, and I have already spent $500 on medical expenses since this all began on May 22, 2023. Interestingly, I noticed a similar review from last month that has since disappeared from this site. I have video and photographic evidence to support my experience.
I ordered the refreshing roll, which was enjoyable, but the atmosphere was quite loud and not in the same league as a fine dining experience like Koi in Seal Beach. Just to be clear, this place feels more suited for those new to sushi. Again, just my opinion. Rating: 2/5 for the food.
Came in for lunch on a weekday and got sat immediately. Located on 2nd street so if you know, you know. Parking can be difficult but it's not impossible. Menu is typically of a sushi spot, you've got plenty to choose from. I opted for a lunch special and everything was what you would expect. Food was 7/10, nothing magical but overall fresh and fulfilling. 2nd street is a great spot to stroll so the ambiance and location sushi of fire is perfect for a mid-day adventure.
Quality of the sushi is really good. A good wide variety of menu to choose from. Their sushi is not like other places where it's basic and tastes familiar, they have a good variation of presenting their rolls to be known as their own compared to others. The ambiance was bright and lively, not too crowded. The servers were timely with coming to our table to see if we were ready to order and to check up on us.I would come back and order other rolls to see more!
