Ocean Market Grill - Long Beach

I like to eat this, but I learned that the fish are made good. I don't like a slightly cooked fish. the boiled sprouts are good, and the zucchini, but I found the sweet potato are actually yams, and very strict. not my favorite. service is good, and eating comes fast, and I love the sweet potatoes that are also made from yams, not sweet potato.

Tasty fast casual seafood restaurant. Good variety of fish selections and preparations. I like whitefish, blackened with the garlic butter sauce and garlic rice and grilled asparagus on the side. Two kinds of fish tacos are also quite tasty. Homemade strawberry lemonade washes it all down.

The food was excellent at this location. A little pricey but worth it. I had Cabo style shrimp tacos and the flavors were wonderful. The cabbage in the taco was a little too thick and I had to remove most of it on the second taco. Also I had grilled asparagus which I found incredibly tasty and tender.

Not our 1st time here we have actually had decent meals in the past. Today it only took 40 minutes to get a cold sweet potato cold cauliflower and a piece of salmon. They told us that the salmon took a little longer to cook (BS) and that the manager had left early. That there was nothing they could do about the food or poor service. Not sure we will be back.

Overpriced terrible service. We ordered dinner for a family of 3 that included an appetizer. My dinner came out first. Fifteen minutes later the kids meal came out. Then, finally my wife's meal the appetizer arrived 10 minutes after that. When we mentioned politely to the servers that this was not ideal she told us that's how they process orders here. So, apparently we misunderstand the logical order of good food service Ocean Market Grill is on to a new groundbreaking concept that we are just unable to wrap our minds around. My biggest regret was that I paid them an18% tip up front at the register when we ordered. In addition, the bathroom was absolutely filthy with what looked like chewing tobacco (I hope) all over the floor. Looks like the ocean market grill is another sinking ship in the marina shopping center due to terrible management.
