Bidrage med feedbackDecent food but a little pricey. Nice atmosphere. Located inside the terminal so it's a nice place to wait for your flight and have a beer, cocktails. Wine, and something to eat. They have table service and one television.
I came in for a quick bite before my flight. $20 $18 +tax) for a ~7 sandwich filled with grocery store cold cuts. The bread wasn 't toasted or anything, just plain white bread. The meal came with chips and salsa. The bartenders/servers were okay, but didn 't come back to fill up my empty water cup until I asked I was sitting at the bar..... To top it off, their cups were dirty! Both the first AND the second water cups had flecks of red stuff caked on the cup, likely from previous cocktails/drinks. Save your money and just grab a quick burger next door.
I love to get a glass of wine before my Oakland flight to visit my folks. Yes, it's overpriced $18 for a glass of Hess Chardonnay is truly outrageous, I totally agree people. You could buy 2 or 3 bottles at Stater Bros but I'm not at Stater Bros, am I? So worth it to have that moment to myself and decompress from work, feel like an adult. The Long Beach airport is ever improving and evolving. New ticket/check in building, new baggage claim. But it hasn't lost that wonderful small town charm of walking on the tarmac to the plane. (Yes, I had to look up how to spell tarmac. No K, I could have sworn there was a K tarmack, but no. I digress. Front and back plane loading lovely! Although I always sit as close to the front as possible for swift deboarding. I fly a lot so I get a lot of free drink coupons from Southwest and I like to give them to my flight neighbors. A to be a nice person, a drink angel and B to not drink alone. It's surprising when someone says no thanks. I forget that not everyone is a drinker like me. But when they say yes, so fun to share a Dogfish Vodka Lemonade or whatever.
Great place to eat at the LB airport! Giovanna provided AWESOME service and food was served hot and delicious!!!
Many of the restaurants at the Long Beach Airport is a bit on the pricey side. I've read a lot of reviews on the prices, but you don't HAVE to have a drink. One thing I noticed about this place is the enthusiasm and service that they provide. Yes, the wine was about $20 per glass. You don't have to drink if you don't want to. Everyone is working hard to make sure the incoming or outgoing passengers from the flights are taken care of!
