Cranelli's Italian - Lone Tree

First time here and the food was absolutely delicious. We can see why they have won so many local awards. Really, really good Italian food. Since it was our first time, our waitress (Meagan I believe) gave us the garlic knots on the house. Super nice gesture and made an instant great first impression. They were awesome. The only negatives were that I did not receive a Caesar salad as requested, which is totally not a big deal. They were super busy, even though we had a 7:30 reservation and I could tell everyone there was working super hard. Also, I left absolutely stuffed and the salad wasn't on the bill so honestly, no harm no foul. The other thing was that it was kind of loud in there, again they were booked up. But the atmosphere there is really awesome and the place is super cool and rustic. Prices were decent, but I don't mind paying for really excellent food, which this was. Overall a great experience and cannot wait to come back and try other dishes.

We have been to Cranellis a number of times and the food is always good, but last evening was the worst dining experience I can remember. The restaurant is always loud but last evening was beyond ridiculous. We invited two of our friends to join us and we could not hear each other across the table, primarily due to a blonde woman, who went from table to table for nearly an hour talking and laughing . We could not hear each other, but we hear every word she said even when she was 20 feet away. We asked our waiter and he informed us that is was the owner, which was no surprise because an employee who did nothing but annoy the customers would be let go. She finally came to our table and we told hear that she was loud. She became incensed and told us to calm down . After she left, a customer at another table that was in a 20 minute loud and laughing engagement with her, came over and apologized. When we left, another couple came to us in the parking lot and thanked us for voicing our concerns with the owner and lamented what an unenjoyable evening they had. Amazing that there we received an apology from a customer and a thank you from another, but nothing from the owner other than the disgust that we voice our displeasure. After spending $300, we will not be back.

Great food and great service every time. Been there multiple times and the only complaint is sometimes it takes awhile to get a table.

Visiting the area so we tried the restaurant. Everything was great, Hostess was great, food was excellent. I have only one complaint (which I've seen in other restaurants) The cleaning of the tables after patrons have left is disgusting. The same rag that was used on the chairs and seats was then used on the table and then to wipe off the top of cheese, salt and pepper shakers. There has to be a better way, please.
