The Waltzing Weasel - London

I recently dined at this family-owned, local restaurant and had a wonderful time. I definitely plan on returning. Small establishments like this are rare, and I always enjoy supporting the owner who took the time to check on us. There were some wasps around, but that's typical, right? The food and cocktails were delicious, especially when we asked for recommendations. It was all worth it.

I was extremely disappointed with the service I received at the Waltzing Weasel. Our server and food were great, but the management was not. When we arrived with a group of 10-15 people without prior notice, the server initially accommodated us by allowing us to move chairs around. However, the manager was rude and told us we couldn't move tables, claiming it was interfering with the staff's work. My meal, including escargot and a Brickworks Cider, was excellent, but the way we were treated by the manager was unacceptable. I rarely write negative reviews, especially for a long-standing local establishment like the Waltzing Weasel. However, the poor management displayed during our visit has deterred me from returning for drinks and food. While the kitchen staff and server were delightful, the manager's attitude was a disappointment. I hope this issue is addressed to ensure better customer service in the future.

I stayed in London for a night and was searching for a place to have dinner. The Whistling Weasel is fantastic. The ribs and wings were great. My husband tried the liver and onions, which weren't my favorite but he found them delicious. There was a wide variety of beer options and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner on the patio at the Waltzing Weasel this evening. The atmosphere is always relaxing and calm. Our waitress was delightful, prompt and attentive. The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. The perfect way to end a busy day.Parking: Plenty of free parking. Paved parking lot. Easy access to the patio.

Food was good. There were fruit flies buzzing around throughout dinner landing on our plates. Manager was also criticizing staff during our meal.
