Bidrage med feedbackOrdered the smoked salmon olmlette by uber eats. based on the image in the app I thought it was a flatter, smaller part. I was wrong! what had arrived was not only delicious, but also worth the price for the generous portion size. I ordered it with only protein, but that didn't affect the size at all. the black coffee I ordered was also very good.
Ordered the Cora Special and Eggs Benedict with spinach mushrooms for breakfast today and is was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and portions were plentiful. I only ate half of my food and was already full so my partner had a really great time having a second breakfast My server gave me the wrong tea but was kind enough to bring me the right one. It took longer than we thought for the food to arrive because we ordered when there weren’t much people in the restaurant however I will definitely recommend this place and come back to try their other items!!
I have always enjoyed the meals at Cora’s in Guelph so thought we would try the London location since we were in town. The staff were excellent, friendly and very attentive. My meal however was missing items toast was cold and not at all toasted and there was no hollandaise sauce) but was tasty. When asked about how we were enjoying the meal I stated that it was not as described and was a little disappointed. Without requesting it the manager came over to talk and was excellent. I suggested they perhaps do a little more quality control. Better luck next time.
Service was great, my coffee was never more then half empty. The food was lacking though. Ordered a breakfast poutine with sunny side up egg. Egg was fried to a crisp and the egg and Hollandaise sauce were cold as soon as it hit the table. Don’t do this often but sent it back. Got the same egg back crisped and rubber even more and I’m assuming they microwaved it.
I took my wife to Cora's expecting a quality breakfast and a good experience. I have eaten at Cora's in Guelph and Toronto, and was happy with the food and service. The experience at Cora's in London was the opposite. We were one of 5 tables occupied in the restaurant but the service was slow and I had to ask for a re-fill of my drink. After a long wait for a basic breakfast, it arrived--the meat, eggs, potatoes and toast were barely warm. After a few bites, my wife contacted the waitress and she agreed to rectify the concern. It only took a few minutes for the hot breakfast to return (the whip cream that was on my crepe has disappeared and the eggs were overcooked and in pieces). I would expect that an overpriced breakfast would include an exceptional dining experience--but not for me at this Coras.
