Bidrage med feedbackLove this pub! Quick service even if it looks busy, great seating indoor and outdoor, TVs for the football and a good selection of drinks.
What a great pub! We went there on sunny Saturday, the vibe, the service, the food, everything was just great. We had some very delicious burgers and some pints from a local brewery recommended by David and all I can say is that they were great. The huge beer garden full of doggies it's certainly a plus! Make this a must visit if you are around.
Probably the nicest function room I've seen in a while. Food was amazing and service was top notch. Shout out to Wilfred the dog who didn't fart once throughout the afternoon
The wool bag is one of my favorite quarters pubs. It is cozy and always packed. The atmosphere is fantastic especially in summer/autumn if you can sit outside in the garden. This time we went to Sunday roast dinner at 6 pm (I know a little late) unfortunately they had run from Yorkshires and almost out of roasts as a whole. The pig was a bit dry (but the beef was Fab) Nevertheless we enjoyed our dinner as a whole!
We had a nice time in the Woolpack for a few friends reunion last Saturday afternoon. The staff was nice and the food was great plus they have a Fab selection of beer. Unfortunately, the wine is very overpriced. Prices start very high, more like restaurant prices, but the general offer simply does not match this level of wine. We're stuck with the beer. We noticed that no one else drank wine. We arrived at 2:00 and still had friends who came together in the afternoon, and it was great to just hang around, but we were sad to say at 4.30 that children were not allowed after 5:00. Most pubs we go to have a 6pm curfew, some later. The staff we are very accommodating, although we were traveling from Brighton and they allowed us an extra half hour, which was very appreciated, but for a pub that serves food I feel personally is a little early. All in all, if a nice pub and we will definitely be back.
