The Wilmington - London

I recently visited The Wilmington for their Sunday Roast with some out-of-town friends. This place is now on my list for future visits and for satisfying my own Sunday Roast cravings. The menu offers a variety of options, including a vegetarian roast and traditional British dishes like fish and chips and scotch eggs. The Sunday Roast comes with a choice of beef, chicken, or pork, with additional specials like lamb and cote de beouf. Unfortunately, the lamb had already sold out when we arrived for an early dinner, so I recommend going earlier to avoid missing out on the specials. The scotch eggs had a delicious runny yolk and the pork and black pudding layers were well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The bone marrow on toast starter was a substantial portion and served with crumpets, allowing you to fully enjoy the bone marrow. The staff were friendly and happy to make recommendations from the menu. The pub offers a great selection of beer and wine, as well as specialty spirits. The atmosphere is cozy and away from the busy city center. Overall, a fantastic experience at The Wilmington.

Sunday roast is the best! Would recomend the beef roast, the meat is amazing!

The Sunday roast was amazing. My table was a bit too snug as it was positioned in a corner.

Really nice Sunday lunch at The Wilmington. Very pleasant staff and great food. Huge portions too! Very chilled catch up with a friend which took longer than expected but the team were happy for us to take our time. Will recommend return.
