The Sportsman Stratford - London

More than just a classic pub menu, many delicious snacks too. great value and quality, much personal at a very busy night

We stayed a few days in London and it is very sad that in recent years you will hardly find a typical English restaurant with English cuisine. Everything was dominated by international pizza chains and Chinese noodles. Luckily we found them here and we were very pleasantly surprised. Consistent food, drink, service, atmosphere and reasonable prices. Great!

Fantastic experience yesterday AM. We were in Stratford as a base for the league one play off final, at Wembley. This bar did not disappoint. Very tasty food and a particularly generous drinks selection. Would definitely visit again! Regards Staff and locals were so friendly and hospitable, would definitely visit again!

I visit the the Sportsman whenever I can with a mate of mine. Excellent atmosphere for any sports events with loads of screens everywhere. Always a pleasure whenever we have a catch up with Gemma, the happy and very helpful member of staff ! Been visiting the Sportsman for the last 3 years now !

A nice, spacious pub. Great to watch live sport or just hang out with friends. Decent selection of beers and nice food, the staff are always friendly and helpful :
