The Crown Anchor - London

My first visit to The Crown was on Tuesday April 26, when I attended a travel function there. We had been given a group menu, as there was 20 of us. From what they offered, there was a superb choice of food and certainly more than enough to satisfy the toughest eater. Food was served to our group and what appeared was a total delight. Portions were exceedingly generous, arrived looking extremely inviting and tasted superb. Staff are brilliant and could not have done more to assist, or make our evening more enjoyable. I returned yesterday (Wednesday, May 03), to attend lunch with two friends. Our meal was equally excellent and once again the service was spot on. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone and I will be returning here again and again,without question.

Food is good and what makes a real difference is the friendliness of the staff. They really try their best to provide great customer service. We have been here several times, often with young children, and have never been disappointed!

A traditional pub, a stones throw from Marble Hill Park. This is perfect for a quiet pint during the week £3.20 for a Guinness). At weekends it can get quite busy and on rugby weekends it's crazy. The only drawback is the food, overpriced for what you are getting and average at best.

What a gem! I had the mushroom gnocchi it was so delicious!! My partner had the fish and chips, which he praised, and we shared padron peppers and cheesy cauliflower. Everything was very tasty and with generous portions. Great staff and beautiful design on the inside. Highly recommend and will definitely come back soon. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
