Bidrage med feedbackI was shocked by the high bill of £100. The original waiter was nowhere to be found, resulting in poor service. Additionally, the menu has offered the same vegan options for the past year.
How disappointing this was. The waiter was EXCELLENT and it was admirable how well he kept his patience as he had to return to the table multiple times to tell us dishes and ingredients were unavailable. It is understandable that certain ingredients are unavailable due to seasons, market conditions, and demand, but there was no explanation on why so much was off the menu. Moreover, it was clear that the waiting staff were not informed and it only led to disappointment and frustration. The restaurant atmosphere was lacking with so many empty tables and only a hint of the Skylon of old was like. This was always a favourite to take visitors to London as the restaurant was so good and the view so iconic, but the view is as good elsewhere, and so are so many other restaurants. Goodbye, and I hope we see that great waiter at another restaurant somewhere down the road.
Excellent food and unobtrusive service with a wonderful view of the river.
Dining at Skylon is always a treat but I must say the April Set Menu the trout was outstanding. Had a fabulous lunch with great service as usual.
The wine was delightful, perfectly chilled. The service was a bit slow, but not rushed, which was pleasant. The food was good, but not exceptional.
