To be honest, I was never a brick track or until aldgate. this area was really strange and outtah this world seemed like a curve in a corner in mumbai, and I am really with you. yes! I am all about the clean / high-end presentation and great when it comes to restaurants, because I can't just trust that eating is clean and free from any poisoning! I have been put down in all the restaurants that are in the opposite direction. When I and my friend arrived in la cucina, it wasn't out of the crowd. we went by twice looking for the place (after iPhone-Gps the profis are: clean tranquility and relaxed attentive staff quiet italian in the center of the brick railway ordered I salmon affumicato with pizza margarita as my main course to go and my friend ordered bruschetta as an appetizer with tagliolini gamberoni mixediti as main course and both topped it with tiramis also, to be fair, eating quickly came and it was well prepared, but what arta bothered me their prices? I mean, in comparison to 'burger and lobster' in mayfair they get a burger or a lobster back with fritten for £20 so fill but here we have paid to end up £50 for 2 and we were 't even in mayfair? but hey! good experience overall. would I recommend it? avoid, probably not, since I know/proven better Italian restaurants regarding eating and location.
I started with the knock mushrooms, which were absolutely brilliant. For the main course, I had the pollen funghi with a creamy mushroom sauce, and it was amazing. Lunchtime was quite peaceful, and the service was impeccable.
To start, we ordered the bruschetta and smoked salmon, and the portions were generous! I really enjoyed the smoked salmon; it was very fresh. For the main course, I chose the lasagna while my friend opted for the chicken penne. Again, the portions were generous; although my lasagna was tasty, I felt it could have used a bit more flavor—it wasn’t really unforgettable. I noticed a pizza being served to another table that looked quite delicious! For dessert, we both had the chocolate fondant, which surprised us as it resembled a cake, but it was still delicious and quite rich. The waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and prompt. There was a minor mishap when one of the waiters accidentally spilled a drink while serving it; however, he quickly cleaned up the mess and provided us with another drink, along with a discount on the bill as an apology. Overall, La Cucina is an ideal spot for casual dining, and I hope they thrive on Brick Lane. I'd like to thank Zomato for the opportunity to try this new restaurant.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. I had spaghetti carbonara with red wine for my main course and took home a diavola pizza. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and had a great time! Overall, the customer service was excellent; the waiter was friendly and generous. The atmosphere was beautiful and quiet, with lovely decor. The food was delicious, tasty, and expertly prepared, thanks to a professional pizza chef. I would definitely come back with friends!
Despite having a narrow interior, La Cucina uses its limited space extremely well, with a real community feel. The ingredients are extremely fresh and the menu has a great range of Italian dishes, including a variety of vegetarian options. The portions sizes are generous and extremely good value for the price, without scrimping on quality. The service was fast as well as friendly, and helped to perpetuate the endearing vibe of the small establishment. It is a nice change from the many fast food joints on Brick Lane, and would be a nice spot for a date or casual dinner.
