Lords is great for couples or families. Friendly service and good food

Pleasantly surprised with this place for a very tasty and satisfying Sunday roast. More surprised that it wasn’t very busy given the quality of food and service. Great find and looking forward to returning soon

But not on a match day lunch time unless you go before game lunch break. Kitchen to table very slow and drinks orders not much better. My impression was that the kitchen was the problem as waiters kept us informed. Better training?

Very good food both had a burger, meat was perfectly cooked. Nicely presented. Good service, attentive without being intrusive. Early Thursday evening visit and it was packed but it seemed most of the people inside were just having predinner drinks before a function in Lords. Quietened down as they moved on

Family meal at lunchtime. Despite booking, they didn’t seem to be aware of it. It wasn’t busy but even so...Service was very slow. On two occasions I had to go and find the waitresses who were leaning on the bar chatting. Apparently totally oblivious we were waiting to order. And then we we had finished
