Restaurant closed, not sure why this is still on OpenTable

The restaurant is lovely with a cozy atmosphere, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. Excellent.

Read a few very positive instagram posts about Lagu and I have a very high expectation and look forward the visit, indeed, Lagu didn't disappoint me, I ordered the teriyaki karaage don, the deep-fried chicken (Japanese karaage) mixed with teriyaki sauce and with Japanese mayo on top. For me it's a bit salty as they have marinated the chicken so well, with extra teriyaki sauce made it a bit over-seasoned, don't get me wrong, I loved it. My husband ordered the chicken combo curry, which has chicken karaage and Japanese curry, with soft boiled egg on top, my husband also very satisfied with his choice, I tried the original chicken karaage and it was very tasty, it was the best karaage I have tried in London! They served the multigrain rice which got the extra marks. I am Asian and travelled to Japan for many times, it's really authentic and delicious.

I had made a reservation for 1 o'clock but when I arrived, I found the restaurant to be closed. The website and Facebook page had stated that the restaurant was open. No one reached out to inform us otherwise. It was a complete letdown and a waste of time traveling from the other side of London. Not a situation to joke about, especially with a child in tow.

Quiet small place with simple but high quality Japanese dishes. Especially the karaage huge delicate pieces that burst with flavors do not love thick deceptive layers of dough. They ran out of Sashimi, which was a shame!
