The restaurant itself is in desperate need of a refurbishment, food wise it was ok though being Filipino I can honestly say my mother, cousin who came and my sister can cook better Filipino food. We where not expecting much from the place as in general Filipino food isn't an attraction in the culinary world so it wasn't a disappointment in that sense. Based on Charlotte street with the nearest station being Tottenham court road. Please like if you found this helpful.
The crispy pata at this restaurant was fantastic, with a generous portion size. They also offer Red Horse, a popular Filipino strong beer.
2018 A third trip to Josephines, briliant food as usual, warm and friendly service. I 've added this to my 'must do in London ' list. I will be back! 2017 I had a very enjoyable meal here, sitting outside on a warm night. Perfect with a glass or two of the house rose. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and different. In a street where half the eateries are chains (not bad but samey) Josephines stands out.
I love this place! Food was really really good and authentic (I love the aubergine omelette) and Jack is super friendly too. The ambience is also really cosy and cute too. this is a really great family restaurant.
The best Filipino Asian fusion resto we tried in London. Everything is authentic. Food was excellent and superb. Lechon kawali is a must try. Only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is its dated ambience and a damp smell in its premises. A dehumidifier will do wonders. If you miss Filipino food, you must visit this restaurant.
