Encant - London

We hadn't had dinner at encant. on the day I got a call that said the restaurant was closed. last day I was sent an email that reminds me of my reservation. it was very nice when I first went there.

Great place. intimate and cozy. great place in the center of the city. highly recommended.

Eating was tasty and more ambitious than many similar tapas sites, and the Batatas band were excellent. but. absolutely anxious and dissatisfied service, with which manager spend his time talking to people in other tables, accusing his inexperienced bartender for his own mistakes and forgetting a part of our order - although he wrote it on a pad and read it back to us. the place urgently needs a better ventilation - no matter that we wore sorrowful of fried food.

When we first went, it was brilliant. booked by open table to go back, but when we arrived there was the place in darkness. no phone answer, no notification in the window, no notifications from open table. very disappointed

Do not eat here if you want an enjoyable evening. I went here for a get together with a couple of friends and the service was terrible. When I arrived I was told my table would be ready in 20 minutes (after having booked beforehand). The head waiter is rude, not attentive in any way, and gives off the impression he couldn't care less about his restaurant or the people eating there. I wish I'd have read these reviews before going as I wouldn't have bothered.
