With a friend for a weekend dinner. the employees were very pressing with us to order as soon as we arrived, but after a minute looking for the menu, we were not served until at least 20 minutes later, despite trying to seize the attention of the staff several times. it took three water-shoes before they brought on the table and we were never offered top-ups or asked if we wanted more wine. the restaurant was relatiw busy, but not packed (and it is not so uncertain why service was so slow. they had a buy one, get one half price' offer, but the few vegetarian options on the menu were taken off! I had a wonderful dinner at Dan's restaurant last night.

This restaurant is excellent, with friendly service, delicious food, and affordable wine.

Great pizza choice! the haloumi pizza is amazing! beautiful fresh food at an excellent price!

Went with a friend for a weeknight dinner. The staff were very pushy with us to order when as soon as we arrived but after asking for a minute to look at the menu, we then were not served until at least minutes later, despite trying to grab the staff's attention multiple times. It took three requests for water before they brought any to the table and we were never offered top-ups or asked if we wanted more wine. The restaurant was relatively busy but not packed (and it's not huge so unsure sure why service was so slow.They had a Buy One, Get One Half Price' offer but the few vegetarian options on the menu were exceptions to this! I understand there will always be exceptions to offers but the dish I wanted was more expensive than most so we were gong to be giving them more money! After speaking to the waitress, she reluctantly agreed to include ONE option for us, so my non-veggie friend chose from the other limited options.I ordered the mozzarella salad (sans the non-veggie-friendly pesto) as my starter, which was fresh and light. For my main, I went with the halloumi pizza (again, sans pesto) and it was okay. Just okay. The pizza base was nice and there was loads of veggies but despite a very long wait, the halloumi was undercooked so it was slightly disappointing.Service was not very friendly, let alone efficient so I would be unlikely to return.
