Comptoir Libanais Kingston - London

I took family here for lunch having been many times and having told them how great it was. It was so embarrassing. My order was totally forgotten and I twice went to ask what was happening with it and excuses were made but no meal materialised. My family had finished their food and mine still hadn’t arrived so we gave up. They took 25% off the bill but I still left hungry and I’m still shocked at the excuses and no accountability. Disappointed

Amazing! the food is absolutely gorgeous and not to mention the literally stunning interior. this restaurant is a MUST on your to-go-to list. Inexpensive, great food, great service and just an overall great experience.

On a wet and dreary Sunday we were late deciding where to go for lunch wile shopping and then chose to wander down to the Kingston riverside. There is a run of restaurants there and we picked Comptoir on a whim, so glad we had not read all the negative reviews. This was, it turns out, a fantastic choice. We were met with smily faces and had great service throughout, not in your face but also not left waiting for long. We both chose open wraps (Chicken Taone and Lamb Kofta) both a good size and had a fantastic mix of flavours. So good that we sat there smiling at each other afterwards while sipping good coffee.
