Comptoir Gascon - London

Disappointed overall. Wine was great, even though the vintage changed (with very different tastes) between bottles of the same during evening. Main issue was the cassoulet not good taste or texture at all. Ratatouille side dish more like tomato and onion stew!

As usual the food and service were very good. A very pleasant evening.

This restaurant is an excellent spot to meet up with friends. There is no loud music, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is friendly. The food was exceptional, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and plenty of vegetables. I particularly enjoyed my dish, the cod. The only drawback is the price, as it is quite expensive. However, since I rarely dine out without my kids, it felt like a special treat.

My visiting friends were very pleased with the wonderful authentic Gascon cuisine at this restaurant. The food was honest, excellent, and great value, making for a fantastic evening.
