Bill's Restaurant Bar Muswell Hill

Lovely interior, pleasant staff, varied menu, nicely prepared food. All good except for the unfortunate habit lots of people in customer service have of assuming people's gender. I can't wait until people stop doing that. On a similar note the toilets were just toilets, not gendered, so I could use them without feeling dysphoric.

Disappointed. Staff seem occupied and not interested in greeting or checking on dining experience. Despite my dissatisfaction they added service charge that was not warranted due to the service. Steak and eggs overdone, didn’t want to call someone over to make comment as I’m uncomfortable doing so. No one cleared table so we stacked plates for them to come collect. Left for an age on waiting to order desserts. Paid for refill pancakes but plates again just left staff not engaging with us so that went out the window. Luckily was able to get one refill to go. Advertising kids eat free drinks paid for majority of kids food. Despite he bringing up only one item taken off. Just paid got out of dodge as we were left so long sitting around waiting for service, the visit was much longer than it needed to be, to the point we watched a shift change over and they leave happily with meals and eat before leaving. Won’t visit this branch again. Very disappointed. Wasted journey. Hurry up and open the angel branch

Came here the other week and had a lovely experience, got given some nice recommendations from staff, service was quick but towards the end of our experience it got a tiny bit slow but it wasn't so much of a problem. Food had some nice flavours and dessert was good too!! As well as that, we loved the choice of music in the background, chill, calming and just good

We came for breakfast, 2 adults and 3 kids. Food is luke warm not hot. Toast slice (yes 1) is not a normal sized one and cold and cannot spread butter on it which kids can eat. Asked for smooth orange juice which they said yes too however juice had bits in it.. Could not be changed. Our waitress did not return to ask how is your food. Kids not offered colouring paper and crayons. First and last visit. Better places which serve hot food and is cooked better.
