Aster Cafe - London

My partner and I had the worst dinner in a while at this restaurant. We received a voucher, which made me think they were not getting enough business. The manager was unhelpful, blunt, and rude. The steak we ordered was grey and precut, just like the one in the photo. Save yourself the time and don't eat here.

The staff at the restaurant were very welcoming and attentive, making sure our glasses were always filled and clearing the table promptly. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some delicious French cuisine.

The restaurant unfortunately provided poor service during our visit. Despite the lovely food prepared by the chef, including perfectly cooked lamb and sausage with delicious mashed potatoes, the overall experience was marred by disorganized service. We were left waiting for over 20 minutes after being seated, and our ordered olives and bread took a while to arrive. Additionally, our aperitif was delayed, and our main course arrived before our bottle of wine was brought to the table, causing our food to get cold. While the food was enjoyable, the lack of support from the front of house staff was disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, there were unnecessary delays and missteps in service.

IGNORE THIS PLACE ! I don’t know who bought the Michelin Star for this place . The staff gave for us the table near the waitress desk, where that took forks for costumers and spoke a lot with each other’s …. We ordered food , it was two big tartar, BUT Completely DISAPPOINTING ABOUT THE QUALITY IF IT DISHES , there were huge chanks of meat with tendons … And it was cost 62£… OMG the wine was aromatic and great tease , whereas a waiter always full the glass out of glass … We were there for our 3 year Anniversary We had asked about the quiet, cozy table for our occasion

Sunday is one of my favorite days of the week, which takes place before the next week. sundays in the kneipe or at home. part of the restaurant group danddlondon. aster just started Sundays with a luxurious buffet style, they get unlimited starters, 1 meal and unlimited desserts. I was in a couple of restaurants in the past, bluebird, coq d’Argent, madison and plateau. they never seem disappointed to give 5 star service and solid large tasting eat.
