Bidrage med feedbackFood was okay, drinks were excellent, but the service was sub par. 3 people ordered, my order and a side if Mac and cheese came out 1st, without the other two entrees. The rib platter came out, which they admitted they forgot, then we had to remind the server of our 3rd order that was still missing and she had forgotten too. Then the 3rd came out immediately, so we suspect we got someone else's order. Food was warm, but everything seemed slightly over cooked or just under the heat lamp too long. Not enough to complain or be inedible, but just enough to notice. Will go back. Will update my review if this turns out to be a fluke/bad night, which isn't good to have on a Friday night.
Food was pretty blah, and service was even worse. Restaurant was dead maybe 4 tables including myself, and servers were not nice or helpful.
Title: A Mediocre Experience at Applebee's: A Run-of-the-Mill VisitRating: (3/5)Recently, I had the opportunity to dine at a local Applebee's restaurant, and while the experience wasn't terrible, it left much to be desired. The overall experience was average at best, with nothing particularly outstanding or memorable to set it apart from other chain restaurants.Let's start with the food. I opted for the turkey club sandwich, a classic choice that I hoped would satisfy my hunger. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The sandwich was just average in taste, lacking any real flair or standout flavors. It seemed like a standard, run-of-the-mill offering that failed to leave a lasting impression. The accompanying fries were a disappointment as well, as they were overly salty, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal.Moving on to the service, it was nothing to write home about. While we were seated promptly upon arrival at 6:45 p.m., I expected a bit more attentiveness from the waitstaff. Our server was polite but seemed disinterested and lacked the enthusiasm that could have elevated the dining experience. They provided the necessary basics, taking our orders and delivering our food in a timely manner, but there was no genuine warmth or personalized touch that would have made us feel truly valued as customers. One aspect worth noting was the lack of a bustling atmosphere. Despite our arrival during what is typically considered a busy dinner hour, the restaurant was relatively quiet, and we were seated immediately. While this may have been advantageous for us in terms of wait times, it did contribute to an overall lackluster ambiance. The absence of a vibrant energy or sense of liveliness that one often expects at a restaurant during peak hours made the experience feel somewhat lackluster. In conclusion, my visit to this Applebee's was disappointingly average. The turkey club sandwich, while edible, lacked the flavor and creativity that would make it memorable. The fries were overly salty, leaving a less than desirable taste in my mouth. The service was adequate but lacked the personal touch and enthusiasm that could have enhanced the dining experience. Finally, the lack of a bustling atmosphere further added to the mediocrity of the visit. While it may suffice for a quick and convenient meal, I wouldn't consider this particular Applebee's a standout choice for a memorable dining experience.
The wait staff was wonderful considering we got a table that dumped our drinks onto my wife. We had to take it to go (she got really wet) I asked the Manager for a discount. She said all I was getting was the senior discount we should get anyway. I said that sucks and she, the Manager, tried to pull the bag of food out of my hand. I went without being able to give my 'stars ' to the wait staff only.
Place is absolute garbage. Update: still garbage. And stop adding extra ingredients to your salads and just make them with what is listed on the menu.
