Surf's Up Yorktown - Lombard

Perfectly seasoned and freshly made but the fish was not deboned and that made it difficult to eat (not a huge deal: the shrimp and chicken made up for it in the lunch deal).

I feel sorry for this establishment. No one is ever here. I always see a woman behind the counter, all by herself, waiting for someone to order something. I felt sorry for her one day and patronized her. I ordered a 2 wing dinner. It comes with a roll and fries. She gave me 3 wings instead. Thank you. The wings were tasty and seasoned but very small. The drum of the wing was not bigger than the top to the sauce container. Roll and fries were ok. Well, my visit here explains my first paragraph.

I've had Surf up at other locations and the food was good. I was disappointed in Surf's up YorktownThe wings and shrimp taste like they were fried in old grease and the fries were not the homemade fries I was used to eating. The fries were frozen from a bag. The shrimp was not jumbo. They were more like regular shrimp..

Good eats, efficient staff, low wait times. Would recommend the lobster if you're going to stop in.

I ordered 10 wings with fries and was told to come back 15 minutes to pick up my order. I came back 20 minutes later and the food wasn't ready. There was no line, no one waiting. It took them 1 hour to give me my food. No apology, didn't even say thank you. Service means a lot to me. I enjoyed my last order of food from here. Please work on customer service. There were 2 employees working.
