It could have been a pleasant experience had it not ruined by the lady who was serving the breakfast on Memorial Day. She was very rude and lying about the food to people with dietary restrictions. This could lead to a problem if the management doesn't address it. Rooms were nice and clean, and the location was ideal.

First time staying here. My husband and I truly enjoyed the service and the breakfast! The breakfast was like none other hotel. Fresh warm waffles, lots of toppings. Cereal, fresh oatmeal, lots of toppings. Seriously, the breakfast attention to detail with variety was amazing. The front desk was very kind and attentive. The rooms are just a tad outdated, but beds are super comfy, bathroom clean and bedrooms clean. TV size is great. Desk area spacious. All outlets worked! The hair dryer was perfect. The room was spacious. Full size mirror to check yourself before you head out. I seriously can't get over the breakfast, I mean who has Nashville hot sauce to go with fresh hot scrambled eggs?? And salsa! Definitely opt in for breakfast and enjoy! Definitely will be returning. We had to visit downtown Chicago often during our stay, the drive was about 40mins, but honestly, stayed at 4-5 star hotels in downtown Chicago and this hotel puts them to shame! For the price your paying for, the free parking, the hot breakfast, this hotel is just AMAZING!

Stayed here once a year for the past 3yrs...I am impressed how consistent the cleanliness of the room and overall property has been! Never needed the front desk much, but housekeeping and the breakfast staff were so nice and did an excellent job of keeping everything so clean! I recommend rooms facing east... Very nice natural wetland/small lake behind ...kinda nice, tranquil view...

Although the staff was accommodating, free breakfast was good and the location met our needs, I would not recommend staying here. The rooms are very much in need of repair and an update (bedding, curtains, towels etc). There is no daily maid service offered, not even bringing fresh towels or emptying trash. The pool area was the smallest I’ve ever seen. There were only 5 kids swimming and they could hardly stay out of each other’s way. During our stay there were numerous parties with no noise control. People were running from room to room, hanging out in hallways smoking weed in the rooms. Perhaps these were isolated instances but we will not be back.

We stayed over the weekend here had an uneventful Friday night but on Saturday evening there was a little kids birthday party in one of the rooms. I get it, kids wanna swim. They destroyed the pool deck and hot tub area. There was water in the hallways and elevator. We decided to just chill in the room but soon found it was thunderdome directly above us, running/jumping/stomping. I called the front desk after it was 1030 and it was still going on. Girl at the front desk said she had two customers and she was too busy to handle it. She would get to it later. It stopped a little after midnight and resumed again after 8 until we checked out. I told the manager about it and she apologized and gave me a 25 dollar discount. Called customer care line about the incident and got an apology email. Just feel like 25 dollars isn't really worth what we were dealing with. Stay at a Drury...
