Imagine my surprise when I found AYCE sushi in the area. Now imagine said AYCE sushi being run by one of the most genuinely kind persons in the city. Upon walking in, you're welcomed like a guest in someone's home and given complimentary miso soup and edamame. Now the fun part, you can do AYCE or order a la carte but either way, you get some fairly decent sushi. Is it the freshest ever? No but it's still pretty good for what it's worth. You can order in 3 rounds but the pro move is to get a whole lot in the first round (nigiri) and just work your way down slowly. Throughout the meal, the owner will personally check in on you and converse with you and he truly is a genuine host. You feel like a guest rather than a customer and you can see his genuineness and heart in running a restaurant with impeccable service and compassion. So yeah, half the experience here is the fun, the other half is the warm vibes.
