Athenas Gyro - Loganville

The sign on the door and Google indicate that the restaurant is open until 9 PM, but they were quite insistent that they close at 8:30 PM. The dining room was shut down for cleaning at 8:20 PM. In my opinion, a restaurant should remain open until the advertised closing time. I feel a bit misled, especially since it's our first visit and we're not from the area, especially when their sign states, “If you cheat on us, you are not one of us.” Haha. The service seemed lacking, likely because they were eager to wrap things up for the night. Despite this, my family kept a positive attitude, although it was difficult to sit back and enjoy our meal. For that reason, I would rate them a 4 out of 5 stars; they easily have the potential to earn a 5-star rating. The food was outstanding and truly divine.

Fantastic food at excellent prices! During my healthy eating weeks, I like to order a pound of chicken and a Greek salad. The chicken over rice in the photo has an extra serving of chicken.

The food was great and really delicious, but the service lacked warmth. I took this picture from my car because we had to wait for 40 minutes without being able to eat, even though they were open.

Love the place, we always get their falafel wraps and dessertbuffs. Beautiful family owners, it is a trip for us as we live in Steinberg, but we make it anyway worth it! Child and beautiful surroundings

Really nice experience. I tried to order online but it seemed a bit complicated to me, too many options per meal selection. I have a mental block when it comes to gas station restaurants, my 1st thought is dirty and greasy. But this place was nothing like that, I learned by hanging with some die hard foodies, that some of the best restaurants are at gas stations. The food was delicious, I mentioned that it was my 1st time and they gave me good amount of taziki sauce. My to go order was 2 orders of lamb gyros(mom/hubby) and I had the chicken over rice. Everything was fresh and smelled delightful in my car. The fresh tomatoes were so pretty on my plate. My chicken meal fed 3 people, my dinner and lunch for me and the hubby the next day. I also ordered 1 of every dessert. It just look so good. My favorite was this warm coconut Flan(not sure the real name) Wow, with coffee AMAzing. Sorry no pics this time. Give this place a try. My opinion, much better than Zoe's. My biggest regret I didn't order the hummus.
