Everything was very good… high quality craft food despite the hole in the wall presentation. We had soups and mixed grill.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for ages, because I am obliged to join the chorus of those singing the praises of Yanco and Phoenix Flame! Yanco took us through the whole menu “A to Z” and gave us his recommendations, which we accepted. Everything we tried was amazing I wish I took pics of the appetizers and soup but we were so hungry and dug right in. The hangover soup has just the right amount of spice. The octopus super tender and delicious and the chicken sandwich I’ll dream about. My friend said the feta cheese was creamy and the best she ever had on a salad. Me and my buddy came here before heading to King Spa and the service was fantastic! We got the steak sandwich and Nashville fried chicken sandwich. Both super juicy and flavorful. I also had the soup — it was great, especially for the fall weather we are now having. The GM and Chef both worked at high profile restaurants in Chicago, so they know all the industry vets.
