We were here for a night, dinner and breakfast. The rooms were very new, modern and clean. Very comfortable beds. Only one pillow more per person would have made it even better. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, the service and the staff (including the boss) really great! Breakfast was ready on your own table and offers everything you could wish. Eggs were freshly prepared. A great inn, there's nothing to complain!

We had booked the hotel from Sunday to Monday and after a 25-kilometre hike we had already set to eat at the hotel in the evening. Unfortunately, all doors were closed at arrival in the early evening. After a phone call with the boss, we got a code on the phone to get to our key. We did not feel welcome and were not the only ones with this feeling this evening. In addition, the restaurant was also closed this evening, according to Chef, due to a festival in the village. Too bad you didn't tell us before we arrived that the restaurant would have closed this evening, an email would have been enough, then we would have been prepared. Until we checked in with key code and had made us look for something to eat, the festival was already over (18:00). In all Göschweiler we could not find a way for a dinner, even locals could not call us a place. On the same evening (between 18 and 20:00) we have tried to reach the boss several times, as other questions, except dinner, were open, he did not go to the phone anymore and did not call back. Breakfast the next morning was good, the employee tried to refurbish the room. We hope that this was only an exception and if not, an info already before the arrival saves a lot of trouble on both sides.
