Papa Lolo - Lodz

I was a loyal fan of this pizzeria since its opening in the eighties (it seems to me that the year 1978 is wrong, but perhaps I discovered the pizzeria after its opening). In the beginning they had only this pizza on thick bread and I am glad that they still stick to it because it is unique. So, if I'm in my hometown, I'll make it a point to go to Papa Lolo and have this wonderful pizza. I'm always happy about the service. I never try anything else because I really love this pizza. This time I went to this restaurant twice during my stay. I always choose my own ingredients, and the only observation I had was that for the second time the cook was much more generous with the ingredients and I just couldn't eat everything. It was funny that we went to a cigarette and the waiter was a little worried if we don't forget to pay my son, was quite irritated about it. Here, where we live now, it would never happen, it's just a difference of cultures.

Very good and delicious food with a great customer service. I tried the Greek salad with rosary, and it was excellent! I also tried the Polish dish of salmon with vegetable rice and it was also a good choice. And the other day I tried the pasta with salmon with tomato soup, everything was delicious. Very recommended.

The pizza was quite Italian for the price. the service was great. Very recommended

Very pleasant little restaurant. Great size of pizza, simply amazing garlic sauce that just love good sauce next to pizza. Will be a visit to Poland next time. Thanks for dinner.

They have pizza as well as some polish specialties like zurek, pierogi,... A little bit more expencive then other places but food was very tasty and service was nice and fast. A good alternative if the polish restaurant across the street is full or closed.
