The workers are very nice people and made us feel welcome. My only issue is the meat is a bit over seasoned, but honestly the food was still really good.

I went in and put one to order breakfast. it took 25 minutes for a 2 a breakfast. After waiting for my order for 20 minutes, I asked how much longer and was said I don't know, I don't know. when I came to my car to check my order, it was wrong. the toast was cold and hard. I ordered om, they were over easy. Sausage order was also wrong. I'm disappointed for two reasons. I heard nothing but good things about mel 's. I paid almost $16 for a wrong order that I waited for 25 minutes.

Was in town for an event and we decided to grab some lunch here to go. It was a cute little diner but the food and service were both subpar unfortunately and I would definitely not recommend this to anyone. We were in a rush and we told them right as we entered since we didn't want to order if it didn't work with our timeline. They assured us the food would come out fast and handed us some menus. We then had to wait 10 min for someone to take our order even after they said they would be right with us. We decided to go for sandwiches since it would probably be faster to make, but we still waited 30 minutes for our food. As we waited I noticed that one of the cooks behind the counter was eating right next to where they were assembling food which didn't seem super sanitary to me. Anyways we finally get our food but they couldn't give us our potato wedges unless we wanted to wait 10 more minutes so we opted to just take it off the bill. Once we got back to our event and ate our food, it was just such a big let down. Every single order had something wrong with it. Like the bread choice was wrong, they added condiments we specifically said not to add, they gave us the wrong protein, they forgot the cheese... it was just bad. We also weren't given any napkins or utensils even though we got their chili cheese fries (we ended up tossing this because there was no way to eat this without it being a huge mess). Overall one of the saddest dining experiences we have had in a while.

My husband and I used to come here when it was the omelets house. We decided to go back under village a coffee. Staff was nice and food was good felt homemade. I am assuming owner and his family came in because after that staff seemed like there was tension. Owners were not friendly. I'm fact we're felt uncomfortable too and decided leave. Not sure what population of ppl they would prefer in their restaurant maybe we weren't. Didn't not feel welcomed. I think this restaurant has lots of potential. Hopefully they are more welcoming with all ppl in the future.
